A passionate and charismatic leader with the ability to hire, develop and motivate high-performance teams and drive vision and change throughout an organization while demonstrating the ability to consistently deliver results, drive growth, and create value for customers.
Tim has served as a software licensing expert for academic institutions in both K-12 and Higher Education. Over the last 15 years, Tim has demonstrated a deft touch in negotiating many software licensing agreements. He has academic software licensing certifications with Adobe, Microsoft, and VMware.
Founder and President of HiEd, Inc. Leslie is committed to providing local access to technology to enhance the academic missions of faculty and students, job creation, and development of the workforce of tomorrow. Leslie has also earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
Mike has been doing computer stuff for JourneyEd.com since he joined the team in 2011. When the tethers finally came loose in 2013 as JourneyEd emerged from the shadows of their former corporate overlords and Mike grabbed the reigns to overhaul JourneyEd.com’s technology environment. He’s worked as a developer, administrator, consultant, and director for startups to fortune 50 companies in his 17 years in the IT industry. Mike also has a BS in Marketing from the University of Texas in Austin.
Kevin joined Journeyed.com in 2010 as a marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the online marketing industry. Kevin is highly experienced in executing and delivering results for defined business strategies and providing hands-on leadership and management in a metrics-driven marketing organization. Kevin’s marketing specialties include lead generation, SEM, SEO, display media, email/lifecycle marketing, social marketing, and marketing analytics. Kevin has a BS in Business Administration from Texas State University.
Marcy’s background includes 25 years in education sales, with 18 of those years as Vice President of Academic Sales where she managed a national sales team that provided educational software licensing, hardware and accessories to K-12 and higher education institutions. Marcy was also an academic account executive for Microsoft Corporation for 3 years. She earned a BA in Education and English from St. Louis University.
Before I started working with Amrita Sethi and her team at Journeyed.com, I was struggling with getting quotes in a timely fashion, untangling the mess of MS licensing, Adobe licensing, etc. Her ability to keep her pulse on the general IT landscape and bounce ideas off is very helpful.
Over this year, I have spent a considerable amount of time researching Microsoft’s Volume License Program. It is interesting to note that I have heard many different scenarios about their offerings. However, Account Manager (Odessa) had the ability to provide me with a clear explanation of the program, along with the best option for us.
Working with Jason and his team has already resulted in far greater efficiency in configuring new computers for our faculty and staff, especially with Adobe products, which we have only recently begun to purchase through JourneyEd.
Michelle stepped in and provided me with plans, pricing and purchase information geared towards my environment that made sense and saved my institution money and time.
Jason is extremely knowledgeable and courteous, he is more than willing to go that extra step to help me. He has called me to walk me through some of the new options available through Adobe and Microsoft cloud computing.
Jason has helped me become more engaged with this program and more comfortable with the details of what he offers to our members.
