JourneyEd, the EDU techstore and a recognized leader in providing solutions for software, hardware and IT networks, has today announced the appointment of Marcy Rodriguez as the company’s new Director of Sales.

When asked about Marcy’s appointment to this important position, CEO Greg Lamkin replied, ”We are continuing to grow our team with quality people and are pleased to have Marcy join us. As part of this role Marcy will be directly managing the JourneyEd sales team and using her background, knowledge, and experience to help each and every sales person grow our business. She will be closely managing the team with one-on-one planning, team building, customer communication, marketing integration, and overall company strategy to help us achieve our business goals.”
Marcy’s background includes 25 years in education sales, with 18 of those years as Vice President of Academic Sales where she managed a national sales team that provided educational software licensing, hardware and accessories to K-12 and higher education institutions. Marcy was also an academic account executive for Microsoft Corporation for 3 years. She earned a BA in Education and English from St. Louis University.
