Dallas, Texas, February 22, 2016 –

JourneyEd.com, Inc. has announced they will now provide  software and technology products for the Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Program (ILTPP), allowing Illinois public education to purchase these products at significant discounts below retail prices. The agreement will provide educational entities access to more than 6,000 products.

Through this contract, JourneyEd.com will offer computing software & products from major brands including Adobe, Microsoft, Wacom, Sophos, Avid, and others. The contract leverages JourneyEd.com’s expertise in offering technology products to the education markets for over 25 years.

Utilizing an experienced account management and support staff along with proprietary technology and a vast partnership network, JourneyEd.com enables scalable, faster, and more cost-effective solutions for their customers. JourneyEd.com is unique when compared to traditional technology resellers that typically serve several market verticals. Traditional resellers can experience conflicts when resources are allocated and education customers are often given lower  priority than larger corporate customers.

JourneyEd.com focuses solely on providing technology solutions to the education market and has done so for over two decades. As the education market’s demand for technology increases, JourneyEd.com is well positioned to service this market with a wide array of products, services, and solutions.

“We are pleased to be one of the first participants for this new contract for the Illinois public school system. Given JourneyEd.com’s unique focus on education for over twenty-five years, we believe we will bring a unique offering of knowledge, selection and experience to Illinois public education organizations in need of technology products.” said Tim Lilly, President of JourneyEd.com.

All PK-12 School Districts and Educational Service Agencies in Illinois are able to participate in ILTPP contracts. ILTPP eligible entities include Public PK-12 districts, Private PK-12 districts, and Educational Service Agencies (ROEs, LTCs, etc.). Additional entities may be eligible depending on the individual contract.
